NANE DANZA
JUNIOR COMPANY
A space for dancers who are ready to grow further

Our Philosophy
We believe that exceptional dancers are shaped not only by technical training, but also by curiosity, discipline, responsibility, and the opportunity to create.
The Junior Company was created because we believe that dedicated young dancers deserve the opportunity to keep growing. By bringing together dancers who share the same level of enthusiasm, commitment, and curiosity, we create an environment where they can challenge one another, inspire each other, and continue progressing together.
Alongside advanced technical training, dancers experience the artistic and creative process in a way that is rarely available outside vocational dance training and professional dance companies.
About the Junior Company
The Nane Danza Junior Company is a selective training and performance program for dedicated Ballet 4 & Ballet 5 dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level.
Designed to bridge the gap between recreational and pre-professional training, the Junior Company offers a structured environment where dancers continue developing their technical excellence, artistic expression, creativity, and performance skills.
More than an additional class, it is a place where committed dancers receive new artistic and technical tools while working alongside peers who share the same level of dedication and passion for dance.
More than an additional class

The Junior Company is more than an extra training moment. It is an opportunity to experience the complete creative journey behind a performance.
Alongside advanced training, dancers participate in the creative process, collaborate with guest teachers and choreographers, and experience the excitement of working together towards meaningful stage productions.
This type of collaborative creative process is a rare opportunity for young dancers and is more commonly experienced in vocational dance training and professional companies.
It gives dancers valuable insight into how dance is created, developed, rehearsed, refined, and brought to the stage.
Growing together as dancers and as artists

A strong company environment is built on trust and commitment.
When every dancer arrives prepared, motivated, and ready to give their best, the entire group benefits.
The Junior Company brings together dancers who understand the importance of consistency, responsibility, and supporting each other. It creates a space where dancers can rely on one another, inspire each other, and grow together.
The qualities that make a dancer ready for this environment go beyond talent. Commitment, maturity, positive attitude, responsibility, the ability to apply corrections, and the initiative to take ownership of one’s own development are equally important.

SELECTION PROCESS

Who is the Junior Company for?
The Junior Company is designed for exceptionally dedicated dancers from:
Ballet 4 & Ballet 5
Places are limited.
Dancers join through teacher invitation or by selection process.
Selection is based not only on technical ability, but also on the qualities that are essential in a company environment:
Technical Development
Dancers should have a solid understanding of the Ballet 4 & Ballet 5 vocabulary, together with the physical strength, coordination, energy, and stamina needed to perform the work with quality, control, and confidence.
Commitment & Consistency
A company environment requires dedication. Dancers should demonstrate excellent attendance in their regular training, show commitment to their progress, and understand that consistent personal practice is essential for growth.
As part of the Junior Company, dancers are expected to prioritize this project over other extra activities and make it an important commitment within their schedule.
Maturity & Respect
A positive training environment is built on respect: respect for teachers, classmates, the rehearsal process, and the commitment of the entire group.
Positive Attitude
We value dancers who embrace challenges, enjoy the process of learning, and approach difficult moments in class with curiosity, determination, and a willingness to improve. They should enjoy the training process.
Responsibility
Reliability is a form of respect and is essential in a company environment. Each dancer’s reliable presence, preparation, and commitment affect the entire group.
Ability to Apply Corrections
Growth requires openness and awareness. Dancers should be able to receive feedback, apply corrections, and actively use them to improve their technique and artistry.
Initiative & Motivation to Continue Improving
The Junior Company is a collaborative project where dancers take ownership of their own development.
We value dancers who give their best every class, prepare themselves, stretch, practice by their own initiative, and continue working towards their goals because the motivation comes from within.
This is not a class where dancers simply learn and repeat
combinations. Dancers are expected to embrace new tools, explore movement possibilities, contribute creatively, and take an active role in the development of the pieces we create together.
The Junior Company is for dancers who are not only talented, but who are ready to contribute to a group where everyone is committed to giving their best, supporting each other, and growing together.
