Nane is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator originally from Mexico. With 20 years of teaching experience, she combines international artistic experience with a deep commitment to high-quality dance education.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Dance from Universidad Veracruzana (Mexico, 2012) and a COMMA Master’s Degree in Choreography, a double degree from Codarts University of the Arts and Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts (The Netherlands, 2021). She has also pursued studies in foreign languages, reflecting her passion for international exchange and communication.

Since 2006, Nane has taught dance in private and public institutions in the Netherlands and internationally. In 2016, she founded Nane Danza, a space where she shares her knowledge and passion for dance while guiding students in their technical, artistic, and personal development.

As a performer, she has worked with Último Tren Dance Company (Mexico City), Misiconi Dance Company (The Netherlands), and participated in creative projects across Mexico and Europe. She continues to contribute to the dance field through teaching, coaching, and choreographic projects, including guest repetiteur and guest choreographer at Codarts Rotterdam and other institutions.

Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that discipline, consistency, and a positive learning environment allow dancers to reach their full potential and discover the confidence that comes from consistent achievement. She combines strong technical foundations with personal guidance, supporting each dancer in their individual journey.

As a choreographer, Nane’s work is inspired by nature, neuroscience, quantum physics, and the complexity of human emotions. She enjoys blending ballet with her own choreographic tools to create meaningful stories through movement. Her artistic research project Little Miracles is published in the Research Catalogue, an international database for artistic research.

Beyond the studio, Nane is known for her warm and approachable personality and her passion for connecting with people from different backgrounds. She enjoys travelling, attending performances, drawing and exploring new ideas through reading and writing.

Nane believes in the transformative power of art and beauty, and in their ability to create connection, harmony, and deeper understanding between individuals and communities. She sees dance not only as an artistic discipline, but also as a meaningful way to inspire personal growth, confidence, and lifelong learning.
